Intermodal train 20G  22G began operating on December 12, 2008. Initially, the train will run 3 days per week from the west coast, up the Meridian Speedway to Atlanta. Train 20G (now 22G) interchanged with Norfolk Southern at the Memphis Gateway and operated to Atlanta via Chattanooga. 22G will be a northbound train from Meridian and eastbound to Atlanta. There  are no current plans for a westbound/southbound counterpart to this train.
